In June, 2012, I got this shot of dad giving in to the begging of his young

daughter. She was certainly already old enough to feed herself, but she

was accustomed to being fed, and begging from the old man was easier!

These are juvenile brothers, older than the one above. They’re

starting to look like mature males, but I know that they are

young siblings because they are feeding peacefully within sight

of each other, a thing that mature males would never tolerate.

And for the first time, I had

a few juvenile males also stop

by at the feeders in 2011.
